Stability Analysis of Embankment Slope Considering Water Absorption and Softening of Subgrade Expansive Soil

With the rapid development of road engineering today, a large number high-grade highways need to pass through expansive soil distribution areas. At present, research on slope mainly focuses newly excavated cutting slope. However, according experience, landslide fill embankment foundation is also very common. The layer heterogeneous. There are many weak intercalations or fissures under ground, which generally parallel trend, with low strength and high permeability. After rainfall, interlayer will be further reduced after moisture absorption, sliding surface easily formed load filler, main factor inducing landslide. On basis investigation laboratory test, FORTRAN calculation program developed in this paper, can comprehensively consider special absorption softening characteristics soil. Taking soft Baoshan area Yunnan Province as an example, stability instability analyzed, influence emphatically discussed. Finally, paper puts forward reinforcement method foundation, proven have good effect analysis field practice. For interlayer, it better directly reinforce rigid piles.
